Flexbot Prop Saver
thingiverse
These prop savers are custom-made for the Blade Nano QX's Flexbot framework. Simply print them out and snap them on. They fit only one way, so getting them into position is effortless. The sole hiccup thus far has been that when they encounter a crash, they tend to come loose. In this scenario, it's necessary to gently push them back into place. Nevertheless, these prop savers excel at safeguarding the Flexbot's propellers from damage and maintaining its aerial prowess even if it collides with furniture or a wall at low velocities. Printing multiple sets at once is possible, but be prepared for issues with cool-warping on account of printing such a large surface area without using a raft, so it's advisable to print one set at a time until then. As of now, I am busy working on an upgraded design that can withstand even moderate crashes without shifting out of place. The scale was accurately reproduced by taking the Flexbot framework 3D model and using it as a guide. This allowed for precise modeling in Cinema4D where the Prop Saver concept was fully developed.
