Introducing Flexbot, the DIY copter kit for all ages! This open source and 3D printing enabled kit lets you customize how it looks while enjoying the fun of building and flying. The kit comes with a comic book that illustrates the stories and knowledge behind Flexbot's development. To enhance user experience, the design team has made significant improvements to the battery holder. Inspired by the cap design of Beats headphones, the new 3D printed battery holder is securely attached to the frame, preventing it from falling out when the copter lands. The Flexbot frame has also been optimized for weight and strength. The team conducted extensive testing, including dropping finite element analysis in a simulation environment, to ensure stability and durability. The new frame design includes wider motor seats for easier assembly. 3D printing has played a crucial role in the development of Flexbot, allowing quick iterations and changes without the need for molding. The team is continuously working on improving the structure and developing new related products. Feedback or ideas are welcome; feel free to reach out! Connect with us on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, or visit our website at http://flexlab.cc/. Let's make some intelligent friends and share ideas! Flexbot is an open hardware based on Arduino, so you can find it on GitHub (https://github.com/HexAirbot) and Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/Flexbot/designs).
