I upgraded my CR-10 to an aluminum mk8 extruder. This extruder leaves a large space between the extruder gear and the bowden. This adapter threads onto the inside of the hole where the bowden fitting attaches. You then install a pointed piece of PTFE tubing inside this part to span the remainder of the gap.
