UPDATE ALERT! It's a custom guide for flexible filament, a common upgrade on plastic extruders. Inspired by these modifications, I built it from scratch for my Geeetech I3a all-metal extruder, ensuring a perfect fit without any modifications. 24/05/15 Big Update Coming! Two versions now available: 2mm and 4mm. The 2mm version was put to the test with filaflex, and guess what? It worked like a charm! The 4mm version is designed for use with tubing - check out the picture (I've got teflon on order). Haven't tested it yet, but I'm excited to see how it performs.
