Flexible Mini Greenhouse-Dome with Pot (clickable) (Flexibler Treibhausdom mit Topf für Kräuter und Pflanzen - zusammensteckbar) Your seed, herbs and plants also need a warm environment? This is my second Greenhouse-Dome based on the same concept as my larger "Greenhouse-Dome (clickable) / Treibhausdom": http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1482704 Based on the two Micro-dome parts hexa and penta from obijuan, i made this Mini Greenhouse-Dome with Pot. With the parts here you can build a full small greenhouse-dome (diameter ca. 19,5 cm)! All you need is a piece of PVC foil and a 3D printer. Even the connecting pieces can be printed. And the whole Greenhouse-Dome can be easy plugged together! This Mini Greenhouse-Dome is not as flexible as my first dome in diameter but it has its own plant pot, is flexible in height (when your plants growing, it can be easily enlarged ..) and can be labeled with a sign on the dom. So ideal for herbs and small plants. For one Mini Greenhouse-Dome, you need the following parts + a pvc-foil: 10x hexa (MGD-01)6x penta (MGD-02) Or with a sign on the Dome-Top: 5x penta (MGD-02) + 1x penta-special (MGD-40) + 1x penta-sign-holder (MGD-41) + a sign (MGD-42, MGD-43, MGD-44, MGD-45 or your own > see Print Settings) 10x hexa-Y (MGD-04)10x T-End-for-foil (MGD-05)10x Folienklammer_fuer_T-End (MGD-06)30x A-Connector (MGD-10)45x B-Connector (MGD-11)10x A-,B-,C- or D-Connector (MGD-10, MGD-11, MGD-12 or MGD-13) or your own length for flexible height.1x Pot-NEW (MGD-20) Diameter: 19 x 19,5 cm Height: flexible, from ca. 19 cm How the whole Dome is put together, you can see here (2V/L2 Icosahedron Dome):https://simplydifferently.org/Geodesic_Dome_Notes?page=3#2V/L2Updates: 24.04.2016: I added a new part (MGD-07 "Folienklammer_lang_fuer_T-End"). If you have printed the old plant pot or the dom with the foil not fit nice into the pot, try this part instead of MGD-06. Improvements to the plant pot. New upload MGD-20_pot_NEW. Not tested but should fit better to the dome. Feedback are welcome! I added a new part (MGD-46 "penta_cap_outside"). This part can be plugged on penta-special (MGD-40) if no sign is used. The most parts I printed with 10-15% Infill and 2 layer wall (3 or 4 layer on top/bottom). The clickable bottom-parts (MGD-06 and MGD-07) and the Connecting parts (MGD-10, MGD-11, MGD-12, MGD-13) with 100% Infill. The Pot with 15% Infill and at the bottom, top and walls with 5 layers (it was waterproof). I printed it with transparent and white PLA. But for the clickable part (MGD-06) is perhaps ABS better. For Sign/Label on the Dome-Top: With MGD-40 + MGD-41 you can put a sign on the dom. The blanko-sings can be labeled. If you want to print a own Sign, you can use the following tool: http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=1013494 Just pick... Label Depth = 2 Stick Width = 4 and you can simply plug it on the dome part MGD-41. Post-Printing Choose the parts you need... MGD-05 and MGD-06 are clickable parts for foil fixation. Cut out the two thin parts of the MGD-06 parts. Ready to mount the foil... With MGD-40 + MGD-41 you can put a sign on the dom. The blanko-sings can be labeled. Or generating your own printable sign (see: Print Settings). The Greenhouse-Dome is flexible in height and can be used with or without sign on top.
