Flexible Mount Head for Microphone Wind Screen (9mm Connector)

We've spent the last 3 years building our own VR content company (http://www.redironlabs.com). During this time, we've created many of our own parts for various things. I figured it was time to start sharing those here for everyone :) This one is a bit unusual, and probably very few people will need it. I was about to toss something out this morning but figured it might still come in handy. It is a broken flexible connector from a Chinese manufacturer for a audio pop or wind screen for a mic. They have a strange connector, 9mm -> 5mm -> 9mm head, with the 5mm part being about 2mm tall. Rather than toss it out, I figured it might come in handy as a small camera or mic holder. This should work with pretty much any standard webcam that has a tripod mount on the bottom. But they also make a pretty handy little flexible mount! Included is a little plastic bolt-like thing. Put a bit of tape or something on the plastic bolt for grip.
