Flexion for E3D Retrofit Kit Bracket Mounts Securely on Smartrapcore Series Printers The bracket attaches in the same location as the standard hotend mount, held firmly by 4 screws. It securely holds the Flexion E3D Retrofit kit and NEMA17 motor in place. The kit then mounts the E3D V6 or E3D lite6 hotends. The bracket positions the mounting block of the Flexion Extruder to keep the motor out of the way, ensuring smooth movement and homing without interference. It clears the X motor during a home cycle and keeps a safe distance from the belts for normal travel. The design fits seamlessly on Smartrapcore ALU printers but should also work with Smartrapcore and Smartrapcore 300XL models since they share the same head block. A separate version is available for E3D V6 (Volcano) hotends, which brings the extruder up to accommodate the longer heatblock length. Designed using Onshape, a powerful CAD platform.
