The BYU Compliant Mechanism Research Group created FlexLinks for rapid proof-of-concept prototyping of compliant mechanisms. Paired with LEGO components, users can build a wide variety of custom compliant mechanisms. FlexLinks can be manufactured using 3D printing or various cutting methods such as mills, CNC routers, and water jets made from polypropylene.
