As an e-NABLE volunteer I wanted to make a Flexy-Hand 2 with minimal hassle to test and add to my hand types list that I could make. If you are considering building a Fexy-Hand or Flexy Hand 2 but don't want to go down the difficult learning curve to use flexible filament, a process according to other builders and the various forums, includes extruder gear jams and other frustrations for each of the many filaments, you may want to use this mould to make a complete set of Flexy Joints in one pass with out experimenting on your 3d printer. I have modified the shape of all the hinges slightly to produce a strudy hand action and tested it just for Ooogoo and I am pleased with the results. About a $3.00 investment. The Mould is sized to fit a flexy Hand2 of 100% scale. If you print a hand at 110% just print the mould at 110% and they should match. Trim as required to align joints exactly. Instructions Reference the instructables below for cautions on making Ooogo, a mixture of Silicone I, with corn starch. I found it easy to make. I just mixed in clear Silicone I, with enough corn starch to turn it white. Do outside or in a well vented area. If you print the Mould out of PLA you don"t need to prep it. Give it a least 4 hours to dry before removing. Over night to be safe. Oogoo does not stick to PLA. I could just pushed the hinges out with a flat ended rod. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Make-Your-Own-Sugru-Substitute/
