Flick Football

Flick Football is my version of the classic tabletop game, Paper Football. The only difference, instead of needing a sheet of paper, this game comes complete in its own carry case.

Because, let's face it, who has sheets of paper laying around anymore? This pocket-sized game is also much smaller than a sheet of paper. Don't allow yourself to suffer the inconvenience of lugging around full sheets of paper any longer!

Parts List

The case holds two sets of footballs and goal posts. To print a full game case, you will need to print:

1 Clamshell Case

2 Footballs

2 Bases

2 Posts

2 Crossbars

4 Uprights

Printing Instructions

     Inlays

All the inlays should be 0.6mm tall

Pieces printing over inlays should use a Z-Hop of 0.6mm or taller

Consecutive inlays also need a Z-Hop of 0.6mm or taller

Both sets of files with inlays (Football and Case) can be centered for alignment, respectively.

     Threaded Parts

Parts containing threads will benefit from smaller layer heights.
The threads work at 0.2 layer height, but will be smoother at 0.12mm

Take care when assembling the pieces for the first time. Threads may be sticky, but should loosen up after a few assemblies.

Do not over tighten the bases into the case when storing. They do NOT need to sit flush with the case to close. They are just there to keep the footballs and posts from falling out when you shut the case. Snug is plenty.

Rules

There are many variations of this game. I've included a set of rules, that can also be found here: https://minifootballleague.weebly.com/downloads.html

But, of course, it's always fun to make up your own.

Printed on my Ender 3 using

Overture PLA Pro Black

Jayo PLA+ White

Voxelab PLA+ Orange

Voxelab PLA+ Green

Filacube PLA2 Yellow

Filacube PLA2 Classic Blue
