My first revision of an experimental flight avionics board for 54mm model rocketry. Pretty tough to design though. This device consists of three PCBs stacking together. The power management board(bottom) contains a switching regulator from TI and two pyrotechnic channels. The controller board(middle) uses the PIC32 series MCU from Microchip, with several sensors onboard. The top board contains a wireless communication module & a GPS as well as an auxiliary power supply for programming and debugging.
