Flight Sim Push Throttle

Flight Sim Push Throttle

This is a Cessna 172 Style throttle quadrant design using a 10K rotary potentiometer. I tried designs using linear potentiometers, however I found these to not be as accurate & not allow fine movement. Using a rotary potentiometer with a rack and pinion style mechanism allows for a long throttle movement. This design can be interfaced into MSFS2020 using a software called "Mobiflight" & a plugin for MSFS 2020 called "FSUIPC". The design uses: ● 1x M8 metal bar 570 mm in length (you could possibly shorten this a little more as there is some excess) ● 1x B10K Potentiometer ● 15x M3 bolts I will follow up with a desk clamp & a ways of mounting this to a flight sim instrument panel in the coming days. If this design works for you, could you please leave a comment or provide a picture in the makes section if you have time? If you have any questions or recommendations to the design, please do not hesitate to leave a comment, I would be happy to improve it further.
