Flight sim throttle

Flight sim throttle

thingiverse

Long throw rotational flight sim throttle design. Designed to be desk clamped or otherwise mounted to a pit, as opposed to desktop usage. The arms are about 250mm long (not including the grip). Split throttle design, button layout somewhat similar to the Hornet's throttle. Around 200mm of linear travel Older versions (STEP files) and some form of a BOM can be found on my github repo: https://github.com/Alan-JH/DIYThrottle Current assembly is labelled "Better Assembly v28" and contains almost everything (mechanism, fasteners, RC shocks, springs, bearings, extrusion frame, panels, etc.) An older version, v17, is included as well and has just the main mechanism. I have not included all STLs as there are a ton of them. You will need to export them on your own. Throttle_Firmware.ino is the firmware. The code isn't great, but it works, I guess. Encoders may act a little weird sometimes, and its probably a pain to customize for yourself. You could also just use mmjoy2 or freejoy if you want something more readily customizeable. I probably won't be doing any additional documentation as it is just boring. If you have questions ask me here or on discord; I am on the r/HOTAS discord under the same username
