This G1000-like Flight Display is an upgrade from the original FlightSimMaker design and includes additional design files from the FlightSimMaker Discord https://discord.gg/8uy4cyj3Y4 The biggest change of this update is the complete redesign of the G1000 NXI Bezel, which was done by Discord user DKF. Some further upgrades have been added by me to print the design on a regular FDM printer, especially regarding the keys, and to simplify the build, namely the fixture for the LCD display. The dual encoders included here are modified to compensate for the differences in bezel thickness and give sufficient room for the display. Please visit the Discord to find a lot more cool stuff from the G1000 community, expecially some alternative designs for different encoders and 3D printers. Besides the 3D design the most important component is the electrical set up for which I have created a complete and comprehensive PCB design. The design files, part list and corresponding arduino-based firmware can be found in github https://github.com/MartinRusk/G1000. There you find also pre-sliced 3MF files using two colour printing for the text on buttons and bezel. A complete set of manufactured PCBs is available on request.
