Flintlock Mechanism

Flintlock Mechanism

This is the flintlock and trigger for an India Pattern Brown Bess rifle. This was made so that we could inexpensively arm a bunch of background soldiers in one of our plays. They're simplified so that I could print them easily on my Printrbot PLA - I wasn't worried about perfect accuracy as our closest audience member was probably twenty feet away from these characters and they were just nameless spear carriers anyway. The plates are designed to be fastened down with drywall screws and the hammer is held to the plate by a 1/4-20 flathead machine screw and bolt. You will need to assemble and glue the pieces once they're printed. The hammer can be moved, but due to time constraints the pan and frizzen are one solid piece.
