My Flip Lock tripod was damaged in airline transport some years ago. The consumer Flip Lock model FL is light, very easy to use and fast to setup. I resorted to a pair of little vice grips to adjust the leg with the broken lever. Enter my brand new Zonestar P802QR2 3d printer. I decided to learn the complete 3d process by fabricating a replacement lever for my tripod. The part has simple geometry, it is small and it is useful, so an ideal first time project.
