FLIRC Vixen case with integrated power supply

This print adds a vixen clamp with an integrated power supply to your FLIRC case. The power supply supports up to 16V input and delivers up to 3A power. As a bonus, you can now use the usb-c port as a true host port. Now your pi have 5 usb ports :) See [here](https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=246348&p=1678554) ## Parts * Step down converter : [UBEC Buck Converter](https://www.adafruit.com/product/1385) (can be found elsewhere, look for "UBEC") * DC jack : [CUI PJ-079AH](https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/cui-devices) * M4 Threaded insert : [KVT-001M4](https://www.tme.eu/en/details/kvt-001m4/threaded-insertions/kvt-fastening/300113360/) * [M4 screw with plastic tip](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000233257611.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.4c386c37cDv8II) (these are hard to find) ## Assembly * Print the part (obviously) * Place the DC jack and the step down converter inside the vixen wall hole * Fix everything (I used a hot glue gun) * Put the M4 thread in place ## How to mount * Remove the bottom part of the original case, and the pi * Place the pi, *with the SD card* onto the printed part * Connect the power supply to the pi [GPIO](https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/usage/gpio/) * Do not forget to put the thermal pad onto the pi processor * Insert the part with the pi on it inside the aluminum case. It can be hard to fit inside, but be patient and it'll all fit together. Happy imaging :) ! NB : Designed for the rpi4 FLIRC case, but it might work with the rpi3 case as well. The version pictured is an old one. I later reversed the step down place to be able to used angled usb cables
