thingiverse
A float level sensor using a RAMPS optical endstop and a piece of 20mm electrical conduit.
1. The main body needs supports.
2. The float should be printed in vase/spiral mode with a extrusion width of 0.8mm
3. The connecting rod/flag 100% infill
4. Use a piece of clear filament as a light pipe for the LED indication
5. Use some soldering wire to add weight to the float, just wrap some around the rod above the float.
I seal up the float by submerging the float and rod into acetone for a few seconds and blow dry. repeat 2 or 3 times.
