18/03/22 Updated the wire clamp part to move the switch to the positive wire. 16/03/22 A major re-design, now a switch can be added, using the wire clamp part. If not required this part doesn't need to be printed, and the design goes together as before. The switch I used is a 15x10mm rocker switch soldered inline on the negative wire (this would be better on the positive wire, but will need some more modification, and providing you disconnect the light from the battery when not in use, should not cause any issue) like these: https://bit.ly/3tYc2hv The design now also clips on to the spring clip of the battery, and should require less force to install and remove. The screw holes were sized for M3 screws. But for the most part I just used what random screws I had. Included is a couple of images showing how I orient the parts for printing, and where I generate supports. An assembly diagram is also included. *photos still to be updated* *I would also like to update the design to accommodate a fuse* --------------------------------- Had these cheap ebay floodlights hanging about, and needed some worklights, so here is a remix to make a pretty robust and useful worklight. You only need 2 Spade terminals to connect the light to the battery. The lights I have are 12-24v, so do not need any extra wiring, I have included a picture of the specs as I bought them a long time ago and the original listing doesnt work. I am pretty certain they are these ones though: https://bit.ly/3I31dQa The 10w with no PIR sensor, however it looks like you could use the PIR sensor ones too, though you may lose full articulation downwards, if thats of concern. They are available on aliexpres too: https://bit.ly/3vYuity You can assemble this without any screws (apart from the cable clamp), as it seems to be a pretty good friction fit, but the screw holes are there for extra strength and in case I decide to modify it later on with hooks or other accessories. This design does not have a switch, so that might be something I add later if it would add any value. **Important note:** I do not know if Dewalt batteries have discharge protection built into the batteries or the tools. If it's not built into the batteries, you must be careful not to over discharge them.
