Replacement for the acrylic board mount that comes with the FLSun Kossel kit. Mine cracked when I first installed it because I bumped the board while setting the printer in place. The cracked corners finally fell off and I love the exposed look but figured I'd make a few improvements. First, I moved the aluminum mounting holes closer to the center of the piece so that they would be less likely to snap off in the future and added an alignment bar so that it will hold the board a bit stiffer in place on the frame. Second, I added standoffs to the mounting holes for the board. The original acrylic was all 5mm deep and the solder points dug into it and and forced it to flex if you tightened the screws too much. Making the board 3mm deep and the standoffs 2mm tall gave me the same height as the original board while still allowing room so that the solder points wouldn't been digging in. Third, mostly cosmetic because I was going from a piece of see through acrylic to translucent plastic but also to cut down on the amount of plastic I needed to use to make it, I added a window to the back for the Makerbase logo to show through.
