With this solution the case is very slim and will fit with the bottom chassis metal hood on. The PSU stock FAN is 12V so switch to noctua does not requires a stepdown / buck converter. A noise reducer cable from noctua package can be used because this fan is HUGE comparing to the stock one, so the 12v full speed is not required. This will makes the PSU even more silent.
