***ITALIANO*** Ho scelto la Super Racer per la sua struttura e per le sue potenzialità nello stampare filamenti semplici a grande velocità, come PLA e PET-G. Appurato che l'Hotend di fabbrica non è assolutamente un Vulcan, dopo poco tempo ho preferito sostituire anche su questa stampante il suo V5 con il V6 ad alto flusso. In questo caso ho scelto un Phaetus Dragon BMO HighFlow, considerando le velocità di stampa alle quali puntavo. Il mio obiettivo era quello di ridisegnare il Effector originale per adattare il V6, alleggerire tutto il gruppo e migliorare il flusso d'aria. Al momento sto stampando tranquillamente a 200mm/s del PLA+. Probabilmente sarà possibile aumentare le velocità massime del firmwere e di conseguenza inserire dei dissipatori sui motori per evitare il surriscaldamento, soprattutto quello dell'estrusore. L'unica modifica meccanica necessarià e quella di allargare il foro sulla piastra di alluminio originale ad un valore di 23mm di diametro, come si vede in foto. Tutto il resto si stampa facilmente. Come potete vedere siamo passati da 48grammi a 16grammi e, come sull'originale, la gestione dei cavi è molto pulita ed ordinata. ***ENGLISH*** I chose the Super Racer for its structure and for its potential in printing simple filaments at high speed, such as PLA and PET-G. Having established that the factory Hotend is absolutely not a Vulcan, after a short time I preferred to replace its V5 with the high-flow V6 on this printer as well. In this case I chose a Phaetus Dragon BMO HighFlow, considering the print speeds I was aiming for. My goal was to redesign the original Effector to fit the V6, lighten the whole group and improve airflow. At the moment I'm quietly printing at 200mm / s of PLA +. It will probably be possible to increase the maximum speeds of the firmwere and consequently insert heat sinks on the motors to avoid overheating, especially that of the extruder. The only mechanical modification needed is to widen the hole on the original aluminum plate to a value of 23mm in diameter, as seen in the photo. Everything else prints easily. As you can see we went from 48grams to 16grams and, as on the original, the cable management is very clean and tidy.
