"They say" take the dust cover off your turntable for best audio satisfaction. Fluance turntables come with very nice hinges, but you can't use them if you want to take your dust cover off every time you drop the needle on some hot vinyl. These standoffs will allow you to go topless whenever you like, but keep your top on when it's cold outside.
