I needed to record some results from my Keysight U1701B Capacitance meter, but didn't have the correct IR download lead for it. On a hunch, I held my Fluke IR189 up to the IR port and watched a serial terminal on the PC. Results appeared, so I modelled this adapter.

It latches into both the meter and IR lead securely.

The Fluke side of the adapter is offset slightly to make the bottom mostly flat for improved printability, but the optical path still lines up well enough that it still works properly.

The Fluke side of the adapter is keyed for correct orientation with the IR189.

The meter side is not keyed for orientation: Connect the meter side of the adapter to the meter with the flat side facing the top of the meter (The Fluke logo faces up if you connect the lead to the adapter first)

One of the 3MF files includes a little support enforcer in the Fluke side of the adapter to help with bridging. You can get away without this if you prefer.

The gcode file supplied is for PLA on a Mk3S, and includes the support.

I recommend printing in an opaque filament to avoid interference problems with the optical communication.
