This is the mechanical part of the optical PC interface connector for a Fluke Scopemeter. The original interfaces have a special mechanical connector and are very expensive.

I couldn't find anyone who already had created this part or have published the exact dimensions of this connector. So i measured and designed the adapter myself and the needed electronics can be found in the internet for this do-it-yourself project. :)

Update 5.11.2017
I added a little bridge to avoid a twisted attachment of the connector.

Update 19.11.2017
I added the source Blender file.

Print Settings

Printer: Monoprice MD Mini Delta

Rafts: Doesn't Matter

Supports: Doesn't Matter

Resolution: 0.3mm

Category: Electronics

Notes: I used PLA for this part which worked quite good.

How I Designed This

I used LibreCAD for creating the exact dimensions as DXF. After that i used Blender to import the DXF and model the 3D part. Then i exported it as STL and used slic3r to create the G-Code for my 3D printer.
Because the first printed part was a little bit to tight (maybe the print shrunk a bit) i exported the STL file with a factor of 1.03 and now it get a very good grip.
