Here is a modified tail of the original (old) helicopter that has a longer gear rack (barely fits at a 45 degree angle on Ender 3/Ender 5 without a skirt for maximum length) and a finger pull loop. It works great. The only thing is that the weight of the pull loop tips up the helicopter's front end when sitting on the table a little bit (I'm OK with). It works well. Also, as an aside, I included an eight blade rotor also for the old helicopter design (the old helicopter version rotors have a larger diameter gear as compared to the new version helicopter rotors). Be aware that the 8 blade rotor doesn't seem to fly better in my testing than the stock 4 blade prop. It was an experiment but would choose a different lighter rotor for best performance. The better flying ones are lighter and more delicate. I've printed out a bunch to try to see which one works the best. So far the three blade and four blade rotor remixes for the old helicopter design seem to work the best to me (they are more fragile also so perhaps not as good for smaller kids). All of the rotors are fun anyway.
