blue-core foam glider made to toss with my son. Instructions I cut this out of 1/2" thick blue foam with my oversized shapeoko. You could also do it by hand from a printed template. This foam is readily available from Lowes for around $10 a sheet (the glider used 1/16th of a sheet). You are looking for "1/2-in x 4-ft x 8-ft Extruded Polystyrene Insulated Sheathing". I assembled it with hot glue (which melts the foam if you don't let it cool a little before application). Stuck an M5 bolt (30mm?) in the nose to balance it so the glide trajectory was better. Tried to print a little model, but slic3r barfed on the mangled stl that came out of sketchup. Looks like kisslicer does better, but I haven't tested it yet.
