Fogging Gothic Tombstone

Fogging Gothic Tombstone

myminifactory

Designed to be a centerpiece of outdoor Halloween decor, this 3D printable gravestone stands at more than 1.2 meters high for a full-sized print. Based on a celtic cross motif, this tombstone evokes the feel of a classic medieval graveyard. Adding to its grim appearance are a stylized bat at the top of the column and the script "Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate" at the bottom. This is the original, non-translated version of Dante Alighieri's famous inscription "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here" on the gates of Hell in the Inferno section of his literary classic, The Divine Comedy.   This design's base also features a 2-inch input pipe with a corresponding set of hollow tubes that exit from the front and sides. This input pipe can be hooked to a fog machine with a standard 2-inch corrugated plastic tube. When turned on, the fog machine will pump fog through the tube, into the base and out through the respective exit holes, resulting in a shroud of fog on all sides of the gravestone.   Note: This design is too large to print on most consumer 3D printers. However, after it has been approved by MyMiniFactory, I'll go back into Tinkercad and slice it down into more manageable sections that will then be uploaded as individual files. This object was made in Tinkercad. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/3cWcUR6hMbf
