Update 15-MAR-2020 (V43): - optional battery tray added - Top frame with optional cavity for R/C receiver and holes for M3 nuts below domes - Adapter with optional holes for M2.5 nut below domes --------------------------------- Here comes Version 2 of my FNQ220 (Foldable Nano Quadrocopter) After 3 years of field testing and several own builds with different configurations, this is the V2 (file version V.39) with a lot of features, bugfixes and improvements compared to the V1 (still available as thingiverse object #819457). Most of the parameters are available as "Customizer Parameters", I recommend the Openscad Customizer to play (offline) with the parameter setup. The basic setup is adapted to "state of the art 2018" components, such as: - Motor recommendation now is a 1306 3100kv (easy to assemble into the boom) - Prop recommendation for the default frame size still is 5" (e.g. Gemfan 5030) - FC should be in 20x20 or 30.5x30.5 footprint (e.g. Omnibus nano or Pico BLX) - ESC in 4in1 layout makes the wiring much easier (less soldering) - Neopixel boom variants (optional, experimental) - FPV-cam holder, added as option - Different covers, including a GPS dome (for INAV "return to home" enthusiast...) See the pictures for detailed differences between this V2 and the old V1 version. Use nylon screws M3 to assemble the quad and nylon M2.5 for the ESC and FC (no steel screws required). Have fun printing, assembling and flying the FNQ!
