This stand will not only hold your phone, but also make the speakers sound a little bit better! There are no batteries to charge and no “bluetooth pairing" steps required. I use this at my workbench because sometimes I'm too lazy to use an external speaker. It makes whatever sound you're playing just a little bit louder and beefier.

I was inspired by prior designs by Fab_ster + mxx + Lemmesky :)

I created this folded horn passive speaker from scratch. This design:

Has speaker holes on both sides to accomodate a wider variety of devices

You can choose to split the model for a nifty MMU effect or just print in one material

Optimized for 0.6mm nozzle @ 0.30mm layers, but should print fine with a 0.4mm nozzle @ 0.30mm layers

Requires three M3 screws (anything 8mm or longer will do) and three hex nuts

I have uploaded multiple versions of the Body piece to accommodate:

Phones measuring up to 74mm wide by 12mm deep

Larger phones measuring up to 82mm wide by 12mm deep

Instructions

If you wish to print MMU, split the models

Print the Lid piece with supports for where the screws sit

Print the Body piece without supports

Assemble with three M3 screws and three hex nuts

Stick your phone on top!
