Folded Shade / Light Arm Mash up

WARNING: This is my first contribution, and I don't know what I'm doing. However, I was able to print it and everything works. I loved the idea of the Light Arm 140 to assist my airbrush directed lighting needs, but the shade included was too small to cover normal threaded bulbs, and didn't speak to my desire for super neat looking stuff. So I grabbed this baller shade (Folded Light Shade mk2), added the threading from the light arm shade and now I can thread the folded lamp shade to the light arm mount. The pieces for the light arm are very tight and difficult to assemble, but it is 100% printable. I mainly used a leatherman file to sand down the connections. I printed the bolts (maroon colored in my make) horizontally and used supports to increase their strength. I haven’t snapped one yet, but have snapped similar printed objects when printed vertically. I used the LED Light Stik (pictured) for the lamp and my shade measurements. It also fit the compact fluorescent bulb shown. Note that it does not fit some larger round bulbs that I tried. This is the wiring I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BLJSZ4H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 But it required removal of most of the outer shell (before and after pictured). The cable had to be cut, run through the light arm mount, spliced and soldered. The cable screw portion was CA glued / hot glued into the light arm mount. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I will do my best to assist. Do a brother a solid and post makes if you make it. Happy printing and "let there be light!!!"
