This is one of many 3D designs made by my 3rd grade students. Students worked in small groups and used the engineering design process to solve their client's problem.  This group's client was a classroom teacher that needed a way to organize the folders and materials that cluttered her desk. They decided on a solution that would mount on a wall or on the side of a desk. This can be mounted flat as well. We used double stick foam tape to adhere it to the wall.
