This is a rear bench seat that fold into a bed that will fit 1955 to 67 VW buses. Bench is designed for a 5" foam top. I cut up a 5" thick mattress and it works very well.The setup has been in our bus for a few years and gets lots of use with no issuesWood is cut for a right wall cabinet but could easily be made widerI added a 1.5x1.5" aluminum angle across behind gas tank to support chain attachment. Also added aluminum brackets to support edge of rear deck.
