This is my first actual modeling project, so it's probably far from perfect, but I got it to a point that I'm happy enough with. I wouldn't recommend using it as an actual knife. I tried to stab a box and the knife fell apart. Granted, I printed in PLA and stronger materials might hold up better. The knife is still fun to play with, but be careful of the tip; it can still hurt you. Might be a good idea to round it off if you're looking for a toy. Problems that need further engineering: - PLA locksprings do not last. Leaving the knife closed for minutes at a time can bend the spring out of place so it doesn't hold the blade anymore. I plan to test out new locking mechanisms later. - The pins may need to be resized depending on your setup. The pins are currently 3.9 mm going into a 4.0 mm hole, and may be better for you with 3.8 or 4.0 mm pins. The pin near the blade especially needs a tight fit. - I tried to design this so it wouldn't need to be glued together at all, but the spring still needs to be glued in, and the contact points between either side of the handle may need some glue. - Printing at normal scale is fine, but may seem a bit small. 120% scale works pretty well too.
