Folding Lowered Brace with short buffer tube

Folding Lowered Brace with short buffer tube

Folding brace that is lowered by 1 inch for better eye line. 2 models exist - LEFT or RIGHT folding option! As noted in the pics, it may cover the grip and trigger, so the alternate folding may be preferred if you are right- or left-handed. I included a shortened version of Mussy's extension tube, that is hollow for carrying batteries etc. You may print the one-piece to avoid extra connections. All models require at least one of Mussy's buffer tube nut. Recommend this one vs. a metal one to avoid scratching the finish on the receiver! It can be downloaded here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3210087 All models are oriented for optimum print quality. Use supports "touching buildplate only". Supports in the threaded areas will result in a bad time cleaning them up! Brim is recommended. Infill - use at least 4 walls/perimeters with at least 50% infill Uses a 5/32" x 1.5" roll pin, and a 1" spring, both sourced from the local ACE Hardware! Install the pin from the bottom. You may need to drill out the hole with a 5/32" drill bit. The pin hole folding extension will obviously need to be enlarged bigger. I used an 11/64" drill bit and it worked perfectly - no wobble!
