Folding Screen

Folding Screen

thingiverse

A folding screen inspired in the orient. Laser-cut project, designed for 3mm in MDF. See "folding screen instructions.pdf" on how to assembly.. Update (Ago 2019) - new instructions; - all laser-cut files are now in dxf R12 ASCII format: - you have 3 files, they only differ in their kerf* compensation: - 0 : no kerf compensation; - 015: all notches are compensated 0,15mm; - 020: same thing, 0,20mm. .* kerf is the amount of material that disappears by the cutting process. To avoid the use of glue and make a correct assembly, this kerf is compensated in the vector file itself. To cut and assemble the model, use the 015kerf file, or the 020kerf if your laser has a wider cut. If you want to make significant modifications to the file, maybe it's advisable to use the 0kerf file. Enjoy!
