Needed a simple spool holder to replace the acrylic piece that comes in the kits and works poorly on the Rev B design. Didn't have any 8mm rod, so resized to accept 3/8" threaded rod (commonly available in the US) and 3/8" flange bearings. Instructions Print the two towers. Mounting holes are slightly undersized so drill out to size and mount with M4x10mm bolts and T-nuts. Assemble with a one foot length of 3/8" rod, some 3/8' nuts, and two 3/8 x 1-1/8 radial bearing (Hillman 838626 or equivalent). Adjust the spacing so the spool rides on the bearings.
