I didn't like Folgertech's Y-axis idler pulley design for their 2020 i3 printer. It was fiddly to assemble the bearings, washers and angle brackets, and the resulting assembly carried the belt a couple of mm higher than the motor pinion. So I designed this. Required: M5 X 25 hex-head bolt M5 Nylock nut and washer 2 5 x 10 x 4 flanged ball bearings Installation: Wrap the belt around the two flanged bearings, with the flanges on the outside to act as belt guides Run the bolt into the mount, through the bearings, so that its head sits in the hex pocket on the side of the mount. Put the washer over the bolt and thread on the Nylock Attach the holder to the 2020 frame with M5 bolts and T-nuts. Tension your Y-axis belt. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Clone Supports: No Notes: If printed as shown in the STL viewer, this will not require any supports. However, I would recommend a brim. Also, you will want to have VERY GOOD layer adhesion, or else this'll pull right apart once you add some belt tension.
