Folgertech i3 2020 Print Cooling Nozzle

<p>This is a mount for a print cooling fan for the Folgertech i3 2020 3D printer. It fits one of the common 12V 50mm radial fans with a 15x20mm outlet and provides a low restriction duct and print cooling nozzle.</p> <p>Mounting the duct will require 2 M3 screws to attach to the pre-drilled holes on the left side of the printer's extruder.</p> <p>The fan is designed to press-fit into the top of the duct so I have not included any other method of securing the fan to the duct, I found the the fit was very tight and secure however you may find glue or some other method of attachment to be necessary.</p> <p>Every printer's extruder nozzle will be set at a different height based on the mounting of the M6 Teflon tube and nozzle so be sure to confirm that the print cooling nozzle is mounted at an appropriate height before printing, use washers or adjust the nozzle height if necessary.</p> <p>The OpenSCAD file is included if you'd like to make adjustments, though you'll need a very recent version to display the elbow joints correctly. The mounting bracket height is called out in a variable for easy adjustment. Unfortunately Thingiverse's Customizer isn't using a recent enough version of OpenSCAD to work correctly.</p> <p>ToDo: Reprint in a higher quality setting and upload decent photos.
