Folgertech Kossel 2020 Mod

For those of you who have the Folgertech Kossel 2020 printer, you will be aggravated with the amount of play in the print head. Tightening the adjustment screw in the slider will take some of the play out of the assembly. However if you tighten it too much you will break the slider and or cause the nylon bearings to become angled. This outer plate fits right on your existing slider. Parts required for this mod are (3) 5mm X 30 Machine screws, (1) 3mm X 25 screw per tower. Printed with ABS and tapped large holes with a 5mm tap, small hole with a 3mm tap. If you want to put a nut on the end of the 5mm screws get 5mm X 35 machine screws. Print Settings Printer: Folgertech Kossel 2020 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 25% Notes: The inner hole for the 3mm screw runs almost all the way across the part. Watch the print so you can see how far you need to drill and tap. How I Designed This Designed this with AutoDesk Fusion 360
