Foodsaver Ultra Vacuum Hose Attachment

Foodsaver Ultra Vacuum Hose Attachment

This is the adapter that plugs into my old (late 1990s) Foodsaver Ultra. You put the hose onto one end, and then the hose goes to the canister attachment or some other accessory (the picture shows the old adapter, hose and canister attachment in the background). You usually need this same adapter at both ends of the hose. It looks like the modern Foodsavers also use the same geometry, although the shape of the part of the adapter you hold has changed. As long as the plug portion of the adapter is the same, this should work with your model. I designed this in Fusion 360. I printed on my Ender-3 and sliced in Cura. Key slicer settings are: Layer: 0.08 Infill: 100% PLA print temperature: 195 Initial print temperature: 200 Build plate temperature: 70º C Print speed: 40 mm/sec (to provide better results on overhang, and really smooth walls) Support: Yes (touching buildplate) Experimental settings Overhang wall angle: 45 degrees Overhand wall speed: 80 percent I have included the Cura gcode and the Fusion 360 f3d file. I printed this in PLA, but was able to break it by accidentally pulling hard on the tubing. ABS would be a MUCH better choice for this part.
