I hated the original shell that came on this drive. I disliked the sliding mechanism so I took the drive apart. Unfortunately the bare metal drive gets pretty hot when it's in use, so I designed a blank shell that slides over the USB-A end of the drive, with a notch that seats precisely over the drive's raised protrusion.
