edit 04.09.2021: Make sure you have the latest stl, I noticed a slight missalignment of the right tab and fixed it. Finally took the time to change this already good remix more to my liking. First of all this remix is meant to be printed with an sla printer since there are threaded holes for M3 screws and overall tight tolerances that won't print well with an fdm printer. If there's a demand I can also add a version vor fdm printers. Reason I printed mine in resin is that with the base version I noticed the left cooling outlet started melting, near the heater cartridge (I printed it in petg). Resin won't do that since it si way more temperature resistant. The initial file is a huge 4dmax cinema stl export with an insane amount of facettes. I used meshmixer to reduce the stl first because I couldn't edit it in fusion360 as is, it would take forever to mesh it and make a solid and then every small edit took forever. After that it got better but still left me with a pretty messed up solid I edited. That's why I won't provide the fusion360 file unless specifically asked by anyone...it's a huge mess.. Now a list of what I changed: -) Reinfoced the mounting bars and tabs and integrated them into the heatsink cover since the whole contruction was too flimsy for my taste. This also got rid of the one hole/slot that was in one of the mounting bars. -) Got rid of the 2 mounting adapters. Don't be fooled by the one adapter on the right side of my pictures, I had another mounting whole in my x carriage blueprint which I based my prototype on. I didn't check with the actual x carriage and turns out there is no second threaded whole on that side of the carriage. The uploaded version is fixed for the correct threaded hole. -) Mounting tabs have slots instead of holes so one can adjust the vertical position of the ducts. -) Added roundings to the "underside" of the 40mm hotendfan takeup for better printing. -) Changed the 5015 blower fan takeups. The fans now have a tighter fit, in the base version recess was too big (also for fdm printing) which resulted in a ratling noise from the fans as they moved around even when tightly screwed onto the mounting tab using nuts. I also added a second mounting tab on each side for a better and more secure fit -) The 4 mounting holes for the 40mm hotend fan are threaded and 7mm deep. If you use a fan grill with 4mm height and a 40x20mm hotend fan you can use 4pcs M3x30mm screws. The 4 holes in the blowerfan mounting tabs are also threaded for M3 screws. I opted for additional M3 locknuts but the screws fit nice and tight into the sla printed threads, I'm sure with a drop of loctite screw glue you won't need nuts at all. In this case you can use M3x20mm screws since the fans are 15mm thick and the mounting tabs 4mm.
