This is an oil filter housing blockoff plate for Ford 6.7L Powerstroke engines. It is intended to be used while performing maintenance such as starter removal or an upper oil pan reseal. It solves the potential issue of having dirty diesel oil drip on your person and the shop floor while you perform the repair. Not exactly a necessity but also a handy tool to have around the shop if you're a Ford diesel technician or just an involved owner. Included are files for 2011-2019 trucks and 2020+ trucks. The gasket shape and bolt locations are slightly different between the two and are thus incompatible. Gasket is required.
