I recently build a M32 recovery vehicle and want to have it lifting the engine from a Sherman tank. Surprisingly enough, you can't find this engine to print anywhere! So, I decided to create one. Is it perfect? Hardly. Is it accurate? Moderately. But when painted and weathered and shoved in the rear end of a Sherman will it look right? You bet it will! I had originally included both 1/35 and 1/16 files, but as I kept modifying and adding new parts, it got to be a hassle to keep up with both sized files, so I removed all 1/35 files and working just on the 1/16 files now. If you want to print a 1/35 scale engine, simply reduce it to 45.71% in your slicer. **** It is a little large for 1/16. I am going to rescale it soon, but in the meantime, reducing it by 15% should make it right about the correct size. Revision 1: Made the air filter housing wider and sitting higher up. Added air hoses from it. Revision 2: Edited the manifold, had five intakes instead of four and angled it to turn down more. Added holes in the manifolds to help with hose insertion. Revision 3: I scaled the 1:16 too small, size has been corrected. Revision 4: Changed up the air filter and carb file to make it a bit easier for filament printers to handle. Revision 5: Added an Expansion Tank, goes on top of the breather against the front wall. Revision 6: Added several components specific to the Sherman tank, Fuel Gauge Sending Units, Horns, Air Cleaners and Side Blocks on either side of the engine that the air cleaners will set on. Also included radiator/cooling fan parts and pullies for them. The radiator hasn't been test fit yet, so it may change in time.
