NOTE 1: These puck designs are provided "as is" with no liability on the part of the designer if your use of these pucks results in damage to your car. NOTE 2: These designs are shared with requirement of attribution and strictly for NON-COMMERCIAL use. You can print these yourself. If you print them for someone else, these should be passed along "at cost" e.g. your time materials shipping only, e.g. NON-COMMERCIAL. NOTE 3: The MME weighs > 4800 lbs, so these have to withstand at least 1200 lbs each. For that reason be sure to print in TPU 95A at 100% infill (as in completely solid). Yeah, takes forever. These took about 27 hours EACH on my Lulzbot TAZ Pro, with PolyMaker PolyFlex 95A. Purpose: These lift-point pucks are intended to protect the underbody, and especially the battery of a Ford Mustang Mach-E. The updated version is the "Standalone" one, which doesn't require a third-party puck, and is thick enough to allow use of a full-width hoist without contacting of the lift with the battery frame. The "Standalone" pucks are not intended to be left installed at all times; they are only intended to be installed just before lifting the vehicle, then removed immediately after the car comes off the lift. In practice they fit pretty tightly and MIGHT not easily fall off, but who wants the added wind resistance/drag? Please just remove them when not in use. Installation hint: Each puck has a flat edge for aligning with the MME outer trim edge. Be sure to install each puck into the hole that is between the two guide arrows, shown in this diagram: https://www.macheforum.com/site/attachments/mach-e-jacking-and-lifting-pdf.13266/ Important: The arrows in the above diagram only indicate where to lift from forward/aft of the arrows. The arrows do not hint where to lift left/right (outside of car to inside nearer the battery). The pucks go just inside the outer trim. Do not be distracted by the frame surrounding the battery, which also has large holes drilled in it. The pucks go just to the outside of that battery frame, using holes that are in line with the row of bolts in the diagram. One caveat in either version is that there is nothing to prevent the pucks from rotating. For this reason it is important to tell your service tech to orient the jacks straight in from the side, 90º / perpendicular to the side of the car. If the jacks come in angled from forward/aft, the puck could rotate and might cause deformation of the body trim. To re-iterate, the designer of this part is not liable for any damage caused by use of the pucks in any way shape or form. Use the design / pucks solely at your own risk.
