Ford Transit Van Slide Door Lock Latch Extender

This is a door lock latch for a Ford Transit van conversion. The latch extends the manual lock through a mounted panel so that the lock can still be opened and looks nice. The shroud fits a hole 3.0 cm by 5.0 cm and will clear a panel up to 0.55 cm thick (I like metric). There is a slide plate that moves with the latch to hide the innards. We printed the latch in ABS since it could get hot. The latch was glued to the door lock and the panel fits over the slide to accept the latch. Not the most elegant but works well and looks good. The latch has some play due to the angles, mostly from the stock lock plastic. Would extend the sleeve of the latch down to beef it up. Fusion and STEP files included
