Ford Wheel Middle Plug

<p>Cars use to have the plug with logo in the middle of wheels. Those plugs are usually made from some plastic material which life is just few years. I decided to design spare plugs for my FORD. Main question is which material is suitable fro those plugs. I thing the best of currently available materials should be ASA. But there is no ASA with appropriate FORD blue color. The best blue color I have found is the Prusament Ultramarine Blue PETG filament. We need to print some blue layers and then change to the white color for logo. But this blue filament is transparent and we have problem with color mixing. When I printed 0,4 mm layer with blue color and next layers are white then the blue color was changed to the light blue. So after many experiments I found out that it is neccesary to print three layers. I tried several colors for second layer and the best combination seems to be Blue 0,4 mm, Mystic Brown 0,2 mm and rest of plug is white. (see the picture where all of 5 printed plugs have the first layer printed with the same blue color. The last one is original FORD logo).<br/> Elastic slips are printed from the black PERMALLOY filament.
