ForeverSpin Top - Inception Totem Desk Base

This model is for the ForeverSpin top and base. I found it very annoying to spin the top and once it slowed enough, it would just fall over off of the base. Sometimes I'd spin too fast and it zips off for the edge of my desk as it leapt off the base. So, being the kind of guy I am - I made a solution. I already had a base design I created (desk blank holder) and I really liked how it turned out. I used this design for a cup holder and a phone charging cradle for my Samsung. They both came out great. Prior to uploading, I did a search on here for other bases. They weren't quite as fancy as mine and almost all of them would not contain your top once it toppled over. I also included locations for two tops. Model has 1" thru-hole on the bottom to remove your base. Designed to allow your base to drop in and sits .02" below the surface. Sorry guys, don't do Metric. I was previously a CNC and manual machinist and programmed my parts typically from the print at the machine or text editor. When necessary, I would CAM something up. I also have several years of prototype experience. Always loved machining and truly miss it :( If you like this, let me know. I have some other models I might upload. Cheers
