http://www.tektro-usa.com/category.php?catid=188&productid=1096 A few versions of this, a Tektro "Adjustable Fork Crown Cable Hanger" My reference image is provided. The first version is almost an identical copy. They are sized so that any standard brake barrel adjuster will fit. A cutout (added feature not present on the original) is provided to make the installation/removal of the cable much faster. They will not screw in, & don't force them too. Using the locknut, you can achieve the same adjustment effect without threading these pieces together. I haven't tested how they do under vibration/long rides, & neither should you, unless you machine them. If you are, resize that hole to be appropriately small & tap the hole. The only thing that ended up worked was the fourth version, but that mounted to a pretty particular steel piece that used to be a reflector mount. I bent this piece into shape, then mounted the 4th version to that with a 5 mm bolt & locknut. It was pretty difficult to bend the steel piece by hand, but when I mounted it, applying the front brake easily bent the steel bracket (though not permanently, & not enough that the brake felt weird at the lever). I do not recommend this either. The plastic whitened, indicating some wear at the 90 deg bend, but it never broke. I took it off before that may have happened. I'm not even going to show you how this version came together because I don't recommend it. If you're still curious & promise not to emulate this without taking measures to improve its safety, contact me & I'll show you. In case you missed it: DO NOT MAKE THIS THING VIA 3D PRINTING. IT WILL BREAK/FAIL TO BRAKE, & IS UNSAFE. How I Designed This http://www.tektro-usa.com/category.php?catid=188&productid=1096 Reference. The only version that worked. Note the whitening at the corner. Very heavy, thick piece of steel, but still bent considerably under braking forces. Assembly & Materials Use with a long 6 mm bolt so the head recesses, & a locknut or recessed nut if that's the kind of fork you have. Safety Since these are unsafe, use them only as decorative or reference models, or use CNC milling with aluminum at least. They are not usable when 3D printed. Safety disclaimer: use at your own risk. The first three versions are completely unreliable when 3D printed. Do not try & brake with these. They will almost certainly break unless you machine them. Just inserting the 6 mm post bolt cracked the plastic axially.
